James “Jim” CloutierPresident and Chief Executive Officer
James Cloutier studied Business from 1975 to 1979 at Nichols State University in Thibodaux, La. In 1979, he accepted a position as Personnel Manager at DAPTCO Marine Services. One year later he was promoted to Vice President. He left DAPTCO in 1982 and co-founded SeaCo International, a company engaged in marine transportation services. In the same year, he founded LEASCO Services, Inc, which was a leading provider of dockside support and construction services to the marine construction industry. LEASCO was also a pioneer in refurbishment of offshore structures and developed the first yard dedicated solely to the decommissioning of offshore structures. The company was sold in 1993 to Southern Holdings. In 2004, Jim purchased Nondestructive & Visual Inspection. At the time the company had only about 30 employees and now NVI, LLC is quickly approaching 400 employees. Jim is also a member of NABA, ASNT, and API.
Mark ZeringueExecutive Vice President
Mark Zeringue graduated in 1967 from Central Lafourche High School in Mathews, La. He went on to graduate from the Louisiana State Police Training Academy in 1970. Throughout his law enforcement career, he was promoted often; Sergeant in 1977, Lieutenant in 1982, Executive Officer 2nd in Command in 1985, and then in 1987 he was promoted to Rate of Commander of Troop C. By 1983, Mark had completed Management in State Government Level’s I, II, and III as well as many other management courses throughout his career. After 36 years of service, he retired as Commander in January 2001.
Mark joined NVI, LLC in 2004, as one of the few employees at the time where he helped build the company into what it is today. Shortly after, as the company began to grow, he was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer. He still to present day holds this position. As the CFO of NVI, LLC Mark oversees all of the financial aspects to make sure the company continues to grow and have success.
Andre OlivierChief Operating Officer
Andre’ graduated in 1979 from Vandebilt Catholic High School in Houma, Louisiana. He spent the next couple of years attending college at Nicholls State University while being employed with Bayou Marine Corporation. Andre’ entered the field of nondestructive testing in 1982 as a technician with Global X-Ray & Testing Corporation. Over many years, Andre’ held subsequent positions such Operations Manager, Radiation Safety Officer, Marketing Representative, and Manager of Texas Operations. He resigned in 1994 and founded Gulf Coast International Inspection, LLC and served as President and CEO. Gulf Coast International Inspection primarily supported the Oil and Gas Industry in North and South America. GCII provided engineering and mechanical integrity services including both specialized and conventional methods of inspection for land and offshore pipelines, ASME coded vessel shops, pipe mills, and fabrication yards. In 2001, Oceaneering International, Inc. acquired GCII. Upon acquisition, Andre’ served as Oceaneering’s Inspection Manager of the Americas Region with operations in Brazil, Mexico, and the U.S. for ten years.
In August 2011, Andre’ joined NVI, LLC as Vice President of Gulf of Mexico Operations. He is currently serving as a Director and Chief Operating Officer.
In addition, Andre’ serves on the Board of Directors of the New Cardiovascular Horizons Foundation. This organization is an educational nonprofit foundation focused on multidisciplinary accredited conferences to advance the field of cardiovascular care using endovascular technologies, pharmacotherapy treatments, peripheral interventions, and amputation prevention techniques. With a goal to empower healthcare providers with knowledge of head-to-toe vascular treatments, this organization strives to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration to address the continuum to patient care.
Andre’ currently resides in Houma. His favorite pastimes are spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, cooking, and gardening.
Joshua LuftChief Administrative Officer
Joshua Luft, MBA, has been a director of NVI,LLC since 2004 and the Chief Administrative Officer since January 2010. His responsibilities include strategic planning, business systems, quality assurance, finance administration, and safety leadership. Prior to his current position, Joshua designed and implemented NVI’s administrative policies, safety program, and ISO 9001 registered Quality Management System while he served as Director of Safety and Human Resources. Mr. Luft is also Co-Founder and President of Pipeline Safety, L.L.C, an emerging leader in traceability, validation, NDE auditing, project management, and regulatory compliance.
Joshua gained his MBA in 2009 from Nicholls State University, an AACSB accredited university located in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Joshua also holds a BS in Marketing from Nicholls State University.
