NVI is a worldwide industrial solutions provider for companies with high-stakes infrastructures. We provide unrivaled reliability and customer service by being fast, flexible, and accurate.
“NVI’s extraordinary commitment to standing behind our people, equipment, and their associated work product is what separates NVI from other competitors. Our tagline is “Done Right” for a reason. It merely means 99% of what we do has earned us this reputation. It is a known fact that at times, people or equipment can fail; but this is when the real value of NVI shines. As a company, we strive to deliver the gold standard in customer satisfaction by standing behind our people and equipment to make things right!”
– James Cloutier, President & Chief Executive Officer
NVI strives to help companies plan, inspect and document infrastructure build-outs and maintenance, enabling safe, compliant, and efficient operations. We deliver our NDT techniques with a passionate commitment to exceptional customer service that many NDE providers simply cannot match.
That’s what we call Done Right.
Expertise with Range and Depth
NVI has mastered an extensive array of technologies for nondestructive testing and mechanical integrity—but we are always looking to raise the bar. We are always searching for more cost-effective ways to deploy existing technologies, and we continually evaluate new technologies as they emerge. Thanks to this commitment to innovation, you can count on NVI to propose the exact solution that best meets the needs of your project.
In the final analysis, however, it’s the quality of the staff delivering this technology that makes the difference—and we place a premium on hiring the best. Members of our senior management team are recognized leaders in fields such as marine testing, oceanographic inspections, and mechanical integrity. Our technical staff includes SNT-TC-1A Level II’s and numerous ASNT Level III’s.
This level of technological expertise enables NVI to do more than just providing a service for our clients. They turn to us to solve problems. When we finish a job, our clients are in a better position to address the challenges they face than they were before we started. That’s NVI’s value added.
Quality and Efficiency
Thanks to the expertise and dedication of our technicians, NVI has achieved an unequaled reputation over the last 30 years for quality, responsiveness, and safety. During this time, we have provided nondestructive inspection and mechanical integrity services to thousands of companies in industries such as marine, fabrication, offshore, pipeline, and petrochemical, both in the United States and abroad. The knowledge we’ve gained—of these industries and nondestructive technologies—gives us the ability to develop turnkey solutions for clients that meet or exceed all relevant standards.
At NVI, we continually invest in our people, processes, and equipment. As a result, we deliver the most efficient solutions wherever they’re required, whatever the schedule—and do so in the safest manner possible.
Customer satisfaction is the lifeblood of our business. With every project we take on, we commit ourselves not only to satisfy every relevant code but also to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
But whenever there is an issue, you can count on NVI to respond immediately and comprehensively. We will do whatever is necessary to correct problems that arise as quickly and as thoroughly as possible.
Across the many industries we serve, our purpose is always the same: to determine the quality and integrity of our clients’ facilities or the work they have performed. This is a responsibility we undertake with the utmost seriousness, knowing that the fate of businesses and entire communities can depend on our efforts.
To ensure that our own work is always of the highest quality and integrity, we train our technicians to ASNT-TC 1A guidelines and in accordance with our ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System. This system has been certified by HSB Registration Services since 2006.
As part of Quality Management System, we work with Pipeline Safety Compliance, an independently managed organization, to conduct unannounced audits of our crews to ensure that their work meets the most exacting standards.
At the same time, we understand that the pursuit of quality requires quality individuals. At NVI, we value technological expertise, but we place an even higher premium on hiring individuals on the basis of their character and integrity, their willingness to learn, and their commitment to service.
NVI has certifications in scores of areas, giving us the ability to tackle a broad range of projects in the most cost-effective way, both in the United States and abroad.
To name just a few, we are certified by ASNT as well as by TÜV under the European Pressure Directive (PED). If U.S. clients want to send a pressure vessel or piece of equipment to the North Sea, we are one of the few companies in the country certified to inspect it.
We also have a series of marine certifications, including Lloyd’s Register, DNV, ABS, IBS, and RENA. These certifications set NVI apart from most of our competitors and give us the ability to conduct hull diminution surveys on marine-class vessels under a variety of flags.
We pursue these certifications not only because they give our clients confidence in the work we perform, but also because our ongoing commitment to these standards keeps us abreast of the latest developments in the field and makes us a better company.
